IGB Corporation Berhad ("IGB"), an associate company of Goldis Berhad, was incorporated in Malaysia as a limited company on 12 November 1964 as Ipoh Garden Limited and was listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 10 September 1981, assuming its present name in February 1984. IGB is principally an investment holding and property development company and is also engaged in property investment, property management, retail, hotel operations and construction.

The IGB's residential property development is helmed by Tan & Tan Developments Berhad, a strategic subsidiary of IGB and an established property developer in Malaysia. The current projects are focused mainly on niche medium to high end residential markets. In property investments, there is the highly successful Mid Valley Megamall, a retail development with a net lettable area of 1.7 million sq.ft. which opened in November 1999. Mid Valley Megamall forms part of Mid Valley City, a 50 acre mixed-use urban development project which also comprise hotels, office towers and service apartments. The Gardens is a 9.7 acre development within Mid Valley City anchored by a high-end shopping gallery, two landmark office towers, five-star Gardens Residences and five-star Gardens Hotel. The project was completed in 2008, led by the opening of the shopping gallery in September 2007. IGB's hotel portfolio in Malaysia and abroad encompass hotels and service apartment hotels with over 4,000 rooms.

HOEPharma Holdings Sdn Bhd ("HOEPharma"), a subsidiary of Goldis Berhad was incorporated in 1996. It is predominantly a management and investment company.

The core contributor to the HOEPharma group is from pharmaceuticals under HOE Pharmaceuticals Sdn Bhd ("HOE"). HOE is the leading local manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical products. HOE specializes in dermatological products and has more than 200 products in its portfolio.

For pharmaceutical products (mostly prescribed by doctors), HOE produces a range of more than 170 ethical products for skin treatment including topical Anti-biotics, Anti-fungals, Corticosteriods and Anti-acne products.

Leveraging on its dermatological expertise, HOE introduced cosmeceutical products in 1999 which now produces more than 40 Over The Counter ("OTC") products under 4 key brand names i.e. Ellgy, Ezerra, T3 and Babyshield.

The growth over the years has been in the export market mainly in the Asian region. Currently, HOE exports its products to 45 countries around Asia, Middle East, Africa, New Zealand and Europe. Its manufacturing facility in Port Klang, Malaysia has been accorded with the Good Manufacturing Practice ("GMP") certificate. This facility was inspected and approved by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (“TGA”) in 2008. HOE was awarded best branding by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry ("MITI") in March 2005.

The other companies in the group are HOEPharma (HK) Limited which distributes HOE products in Hong Kong and Novalac (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd which is licensed to distribute specialized infant formula milk powder.

Protech Yu is involved in providing a full range of integrated services for the development of high technology, viable and sustainable land based aquaculture business which include the following:-

• Marketing of OM3 Fish brand Products.
• Provision of project and construction management services, equipment supply, construction services & start up and testing services for Fish Protech Farms.
• Provision of management, technical and training services to Fish Protech Farms being developed in Asia.
• Development of Hatcheries and Nurseries for various species of fish and sale of specific pathogen free (SPF) fish fingerlings.
• Fish Feed business.
• Development of Aquaculture Parks.

Crest Spring (Shanghai) Co. Ltd ("Crest Spring") is a subsidiary of GoldChina Sdn Bhd, which is a subsidiary of Goldis Berhad.

The Group is involved in the following services :-

• The provision of engineering services for pure water and waste water treatment in various industries such as microelectronics, petrochemicals, power plants, municipal waste water, waste water recycle system and city water supply scheme.
• The provision of operation and maintenance services.
• The sale of water and waste water treatment equipment, spares and consumables such as membrane filters, water filtration/ purification systems and water disinfecting systems mainly for industrial and commercial use.
• Participation in privatization of Municipal and Industrial Waste Water and City Water Scheme.

There has been a growing demand in water quality both in the drinking water and waste water recycling sectors. This has led to an expanding requirement for treatment processes and equipment from screening to physical and chemical disinfection technology. As the water and waste water treatment industry in the People's Republic of China (PRC) is relatively undeveloped and new when compared to the industry in Europe and USA, the growth for Crest Spring in the PRC is tremendous.

The rapid rate of urbanization and industrialization in the PRC has led to an increase in awareness on the damages of waste water discharging into the open environment threatening the water resources. This has led to governmental initiatives to develop legislation to regulate the discharge of waste water. The enactment of more stringent regulations and standards together with the improved enforcement of such regulations will lead to an increase in demand for the services of Crest Spring.

Tianjin Manax Natural Fibre Thin Film Co. Ltd

Tianjin Manax Natural Fibre Thin Film Co Ltd ("Tianjin Manax") is a subsidiary of GoldChina Sdn Bhd ("GoldChina"), a subsidiary of Goldis Berhad.

Tianjin Manax is a corrugated paper manufacturer using recycled waste paper. It is located at Shi Ge Zhuang Zhen, Wu Qing Xian, Tianjin with a land area of 16.47 acres.

The corrugated papers are rated as Grade A & B in the China paper market. Its customers are mostly located in Tianjin, Beijing, Qingdao and other parts of China.

The current production capacity has increased to 145,000 tons per year. Despite the global financial crisis, its sales for the year 2008 amounted to 79,464 tons, an increase of 209 tons over last year.
